SYRACUSE — It was the perfect day to enjoy the Syracuse Fall Harvest Festival at Lakeside Park. The park was filled with hundreds of people from all over the area, many of whom were families, enjoying the numerous activities and goods at various vendors. This was also the final day of the Syracuse Artisans & Farmers Market.

The most popular spots were the free activities for the kids. Lines quickly formed for face painting, getting balloon character, pony rides, take a hayride, or play simple fun games and win prizes.
All ages roamed around Animal Grams pet farm getting a chance to pet rabbits of various breeds, a goat, chicken and duck. Many also took the opportunity to learn about and pet the alpacas and decorate their own pumpkin to take home. The pig race course was surrounded by curious faces and a cheering crowds.
Many of the kids also enjoyed going through the obstacle course, numerous times, and an opportunity to sit on one of the John Deere tractors.
The music by local musicians provided a perfect background for those attending.
If you missed this years, make sure to mark your calendar for next year’s event. A large number of those in attendance were heard to say each year gets better and better.
