Motorhome Destroyed By Fire in North Webster

NORTH WEBSTER — Shortly after 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Fire Department was called to 81 EMS W 30 Lane on the south shore of Webster Lake in response to a motorhome fire. Upon arrival, responders found the vehicle engulfed in flames.

According to first responders at the scene, the fire was reportedly started by someone using a propane torch inside the motorhome as they were conducting maintenance. The vehicle, an older model Holiday Rambler motorhome, appeared to be a total loss. No one was injured in the fire.

Officers from North Webster Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene.
