WARSAW – Warsaw’s freshman and Edgewood eighth grade each enjoyed wins Thursday night.

The freshman squad were challenged, but came through with a 25-23 win against NorthWood at Warsaw. Tyler Metzinger led the Tigers with 10 points and Jaylen Reese posted seven points to lead the home side to its 17th win of the season. Warsaw plays next at home Monday night against Elkhart Memorial.

The Edgewood eighth grade boys team romped past Riverview, 50-9, in the second round of the NELMSC tournament at Edgewood. Connor Lennox led Edgewood with 17 points and Tedros Berelsman and Drew Yeager each chipped in seven points for the victors.
