SYRACUSE — The ice conditions on the lakes are not good, but the conditions are perfect at the Syracuse Ice Rink, at the Harold Schrock Athletic Complex. The complex is located at 900 W. Brooklyn St.

One of the infields has been converted into a rink for the community as an effort to increase the utilization of the Harold Schrock Athletic Complex during winter.

Skating, available from dawn until dusk, is open to the public and is free. Bring your own skates, or skate rentals are available at the Community Center, North Long Drive.

Hockey goals are expected to arrive in the near future.
