WARSAW — KC Recycling Depot helped ring in America Recycles Day today, Nov. 14. America Recycles Day is celebrated nationwide on Nov. 15 each year.

The recycling center, located on Union Street, Warsaw, offers recycling services for many items including plastics, televisions, used motor oil and antifreeze plus latex and oil-based paints. The organization’s annual America Recycles Day was held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and gave patrons a chance to recycle old paint and other items in a safe and free way.

The recycling depot also provided snacks and entertainment, including crafting pet toys that were made from recycled materials. Guests were entered to win a door prize, too.

KC Recycling Depot is open Monday through Thursday and some Saturdays with hours dependent on the time of year.
