SYRACUSE — Preschool students at Lakeland Youth Center used recycled material they have collected this year to create robots.

GALT, CALIF. — A tiny kitten was discovered headed down a conveyor belt at a Galt recycling facility Tuesday, just as she was moving toward a potentially fatal compression.

LEESBURG — This fall, Kosciusko County Recycling challenged the community to collect gently worn shoes.

WARSAW — The recycling center, located on Union Street, Warsaw, offers recycling services for many items including plastics, televisions, used motor oil and antifreeze plus latex and oil-based paints. The organization’s annual America Recycles Day was held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and gave patrons a chance to recycle old paint in a safe and free way.
