NORTH WEBSTER – A very hot start for the weekend ahead with rain and thunderstorms near the end, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Friday, July 17, will be sunny with clear skies and a high near 87. The night will be mostly clear with a low around 66.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and hot with a high near 91. Heat index values will be as high as 98 degrees. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Saturday night includes a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 75 degrees. 

Sunday includes a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 2 p.m. Partly sunny and hot with a high near 91. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue until about 2 a.m. The low will be around 71.
