WARSAW — Altrusa International of Warsaw has begun its 47th year of service to the Kosciusko County community.

At the club’s annual Spring banquet, a new leadership team was installed for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. After installation, President Vicky Patterson reminded members of all they have accomplished this past year.

Covid-19 slowed the group’s activities for a while, but members are again providing services to this community using social distancing guidelines.  The group will again be assisting with registration at Beaman Home’s annual golf scramble fundraiser on Aug. 3 at South Shore Golf Course.

Planning has also begun for the club’s biggest service project, Bingo for Beaman Home, scheduled for this fall.

Individuals interested in service to the community are encouraged to visit a club meeting. The next meeting will take place at noon  on Aug. 6, at KREMC, 370 South CR 250E in Warsaw.
