Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:

  • 3:35 a.m. Sunday, July 12. On East US 30, west of East Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Robert K. Stouder, 76, Washington St., Auburn, Pa.; David R. Nadeau, 50, Otter Creek Court, Fort Wayne; and Laurie M. Nadeau, 47, Otter Creek Court, Fort Wayne. Stouder was approaching the intersection when he was distracted by police lights. He ran into the back of David Nadeau’s vehicle at high speed and then ran into the back of Laurie Nadeau’s vehicle. Stouder complained of neck and chest pain and was transported to KCH. Damages up to: $50,000.
  • 4:31 p.m. Friday, July 10. On East US 30, near North Parker Street., Warsaw. Drivers: Linda L. Howard, 18, East Kosciusko Drive, Warsaw; and Cassandra K. Reedy, 37, Lois Drive, Valparaiso. Howard was traveling behind Reedy when she rear-ended her after she thought the light had turned green. Damages up to: $10,000
  • 1:59 p.m. Friday, July 10. On East US 30, north of Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Forest W. Osborne, 77, North CR350 E, Rolling Prarie; and Dennis Grzych, 65, North Daniel St., Edgerton Ohio. Osborne was traveling behind Grzych coming up to the intersection of Meijer Drive. Osborne then rear-ended Grzych as they came to the stoplight. Damages up to: $5,000.
  • 9:24 a.m. Friday, July 10. On South Detroit St., near East Market St., Warsaw. Drivers: Roger L. Rollins, 73, Kings Highway, Winona Lake; and Francisca O. Acevedo, 66, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Rollins was traveling south on Detroit when he went through the intersection of Market, stating he had the green light. He was hit by Acevedo who claimed she had the green light. Damages up to: $2,500
