Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 6:16 p.m. Monday, July 6, East Main Street, near North Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Steven T. Prater, 38, East Pierceton Road, Pierceton; and Mary E. Carlson, 58, West CR 600S, Claypool. Prater was traveling south on Indiana Street when his vehicle’s brakes failed to work. This caused Prater’s vehicle to enter an intersection, striking Carlson’s vehicle. Prater complained of left leg pain. Carlson complained of right knee and chest pain. A passenger in Prater’s vehicle, Chrissy R. Hollon, 37, Winona Lake, complained of left arm pain. Damages up to $25,000.
• 4:39 p.m. Monday, July 6, US 30, west of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Braden L. Flottemesch, 35, Woodchime Court, Fort Wayne; and Jacob C. Baker, 17, South CR 200W, Silver Lake. Flottemesch was traveling east on US 30 when he rear-ended Baker’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
• 2:53 p.m. Monday, July 6, Market Street, west of High Street, Warsaw. Driver: Brenda L. Baldridge, 62, East Market Street, Warsaw. Baldridge was pulling her vehicle out of a parking lot when she struck Mathew E. Ewing, 30, Warsaw. Ewing was riding on a bicycle. Ewing sustained right elbow, right lower leg and left hand injuries. Damages up to $5,000.
