WARSAW – A motorist who led police on a short high-speed chase on the north side of Warsaw crashed his vehicle near CR 400N early Friday morning.

The driver’s vehicle appeared to roll over at least once and landed on its top, pinning the man inside.

The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday, June 19.

According to scanner traffic, the motorist was being pursued by police as he traveled north on SR 15N and reached speeds in excess of 100 mph.

The car apparently left the road and struck a culvert on the east side of the highway before rolling.

The accident slowed traffic on SR 15N.

No other details were immediately available.
