WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools and Blosser’s Photography partnered together to take pictures of Warsaw Community High School’s Class of 2020 graduates in their caps and gowns.
The event, which took place on June 5, followed COVID-19 social distancing requirements, with students standing six feet apart while waiting to get their picture taken in the Warsaw Performing Arts Center. As seniors entered the building in their graduation garb, their temperatures were taken. Hand sanitizer was also readily available, with all school officials and photographers wearing masks.
Students’ photographs will be used to create a large group picture of the senior class in caps and gowns through the use of green screen technology. Photographs will also be used in case the current outdoor graduation plans have to change to a virtual event due to the pandemic.
Warsaw Community Schools will hold an in-person graduation ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, on the WCHS football field.
