WARSAW — A second protest supporting the Black Lives Matter movement will happen from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, outside of the Kosciusko County Courthouse.

Ofelia Rios and Maria Medina, the hosts of Saturday’s protest at Warsaw’s Central Park Plaza, are also in charge of Wednesday’s event.

The local protests are in response to the death of George Floyd, an unarmed African-American man who died in police custody after a white policeman kneeled on his neck for nine minutes.

More than 90 people attended Saturday’s protest.
