Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:

  • 10:44 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 5500 block South SR 13 and South CR 525E, Pierceton. Virginia L. Sleighter reported a hit-and-run accident where a vehicle struck a guardrail and then left the scene.
  • 7:19 a.m. Sunday, May 17, 300 block South Franklin St., Mentone. Anne M. Stoneburner reported theft. Items stolen include a power saw. Value: $520.
  • 8:05 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 500 block East CR 1300N, Milford. Officers investigated a report of intimidation.
  • 2:01 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 5500 block North CR 450E, Leesburg. Todd L. Dickey reported the theft of items from a storage unit. Items stolen include a washing machine, dryer and gas oven. Value: $2,400.
  • 8:42 a.m. Friday, May 15, 5800 block North 3rd St., Warsaw. Doug E. Plew reported credit card fraud. Value: $65.
  • 3:16 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 3100 block East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Raymond C. Almay reported theft. Items stolen include a camping shelter. Value: $300.
  • 2:36 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 400 block South Walnut St., Burket. Michael D. Wright reported theft. Items stolen include a leather coat. Value: $500.
