My name is JD Ayres and I ask that you vote for Karin McGrath for Judge of Kosciusko Superior Court 3.

As a former law enforcement officer of 17 years and former investigator for the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s office, I have worked with many local prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys and judges. The best judges have worked as both prosecuting attorneys and defense attorneys in the local courts. This experience gives them a perspective from both sides of a case. Karin McGrath has this experience.

Karin was the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney assigned to Superior Court 3 for years and has prosecuted hundreds of cases in that court. Karin’s jury trial experience in Superior Court 3 includes prosecuting Felony OWI Causing Serious Bodily Injury and Death. In preparing for trial Karin spends countless hours reviewing the facts of the case and the law applicable to each case. She also reviews the rules of procedure and evidence. Only thru jury trial experience does an attorney become familiar enough with the procedures and rules to preside over jury trial as judge. Karin has this familiarity and is prepared to take the bench and preside over the jury trials that occur in Kosciusko Superior Court 3.
