WARSAW — As of noon Thursday, May 14, the Kosciusko County Health Department reported two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total number of positive cases to 53.
Statewide, the latest posting on the Indiana State Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 1,508.
The total positive number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 26,053. More than 160,000 Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19.
Locally, Whitley County has 27 positive cases; Marshall and Fulton Counties each have 39 positive cases.
Wabash County has 68 positive cases, Noble County has 144 positive cases, and Elkhart County has 589 positive cases.

Cass County, which is south of Fulton County and includes Logansport, has 1,546 positive cases. In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 2,684 positive cases; Allen County has 898 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 897 positive cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 7,793.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 243,000 people in the United States have recovered from COVID-19.
