Kosciusko County Reports Two New COVID-19 Cases

WARSAW — As of noon Wednesday, May 13, the Kosciusko County Health Department reported two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total number of positive cases to 51.

Statewide, the latest posting on the Indiana State Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 1,482.

The total positive number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 25,473. More than 154,000 Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19.

Locally, Marshall County has 37 positive cases, Noble County has 142 positive cases, and Elkhart County has 549 positive cases.

Whitley, Fulton and Wabash Counties’ case numbers remain unchanged at 23, 37 and 67, respectively.

Cass County, which is south of Fulton County and includes Logansport, has 1,544 positive cases. In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 2,588 positive cases; Allen County has 877 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 857 positive cases.

Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 7,703.

According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 230,000 people in the United States have recovered from COVID-19.
