MILFORD — Based upon “extremely good responses,” several Milford churches are planning at least two more Sunday morning drive-in church services in downtown Milford, according to Mike Kelley, pastor of Word of Truth Ministries.

Several attendees at the first drive-in service on Sunday, April 26, “asked this to happen again,” said Kelley.

The services will begin at 10:30 a.m. in front of Town Hall on Main Street on Sunday, May 3 and 10. Further outdoor services may be held during the summer, but no definite plans have yet been set.

The hour-long services will include live worship music and a message, broadcast over a PA system and live streamed over the Facebook pages of Mike Kelley and Word of Truth Ministries.

“Some people watched on Facebook in their cars and others listened with their windows open,” said Kelley, who is waiting for other churches to let him know who will participate the next two weeks.

Attendees are encouraged to park along both sides of Main Street with their vehicles facing west. Volunteers from the Milford churches will assist in guiding the parking.

For more information, call Kelley at (574) 360-7050 or visit the Facebook pages for Word of Truth Ministries or Mike Kelley.
