Wabash County Virus Count Rises By 10; No New Kosciusko Cases

WARSAW — The number of reported coronavirus cases in Kosciusko County remains unchanged at 34, with 19 reported recoveries.

Meanwhile, the latest posting on the Indiana State Department of Health website shows the total number of cases statewide rose to 17,182, with the number of deaths in Indiana now at 964. This is an increase from 901 reported on Tuesday, April 28.

More than 91,500 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Indiana, the state health department said.

Locally, Wabash County has 38 positive cases, which is up from 28 reported on Tuesday. Noble County has 68 positive cases and Elkhart County has 281 positive cases.

Whitley, Fulton and Marshall Counties’ case numbers remain unchanged at 16, 26 and 28, respectively.

Cass County, which is south of Fulton County and includes Logansport, has 1,125 positive COVID-19 cases — up from 1,101 reported on Tuesday. In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 1,786 positive cases; St. Joseph County has 620 positive cases; and Allen County has 528 positive cases.

Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 5,295.
