Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

7:45 a.m. Thursday, April 23, North CR 200W, north of North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Marinel N. Shepherd, 43, Riley Road, Lakeville. Shepherd was traveling south on CR 200W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

7:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, North SR 15, north of West CR 900N, Warsaw. Drivers: Tracey D. Hinen, 50, CR 23, New Paris; and Merle J. Yoder, 43, CR 35, Goshen. Hinen was traveling south on SR 15 when she rear-ended Yoder’s vehicle. Yoder had slowed his vehicle due to construction on the roadway, which was limited to one lane. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.

3:44 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, South SR 25, south of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Terry L. Sabo, 60, West CR 100S, Warsaw. Sabo’s vehicle went off the roadway. Damage under $750.
