MENTONE — The Food Bank Of Northern Indiana in cooperation with The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County will distribute food boxes to families in need from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 22 at Mentone Elementary School.

The school is at 301 East Jackson St, Mentone. The truck and volunteers will be at the north entrance of the school off of Harrison Street, said a news release from the Salvation Army of Kosciusko County.

This is a bonus distribution funded through federal funds of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).

The distribution will be a drive-through event where guests are asked to stay in their vehicles. The boxes will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Each household must be represented by an adult in the vehicle to receive food.
