WARSAW – A two-vehicle accident at US 30 and Old Road 30 early Saturday destroyed a car but caused only minor injuries.

Traffic in both directions was shut down on the highway.

The accident happened shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday, April 11.

A white Toyota, with its passenger side heavily damaged, sat in the eastbound lanes across from the Arby’s restaurant. The second vehicle, a large black pickup or SUV, sat on the northside of the highway.

Responding departments included Warsaw Police, Warsaw Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Winona Lake Police.
