NORTH WEBSTER — Lakeland Regional Sewer District Board of Trustees has cancelled its regular meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 15.

According to a press release, the decision to cancel the meeting was made “to lead by example on the importance of staying home.”

At the March 18 meeting, LRSD adopted Resolution 2020-01, “COVID 19 Emergency Claim Payment Procedures.” This resolution authorizes Treasurer Mike DeWald and his designee to pay all expenses of the district which may not be able to be allowed in advance by the board and which must be paid prior to the end of the public health emergency declared by Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb.

Other than assuring the payment of district expenses, there were no items that required immediate approval and could be addressed at the next meeting.

This is a list of items that should not be thrown into toilets as the community deals with the pandemic.
