Whitley Records First Virus Death, Kosciusko Sees Number Of Cases Rise

WARSAW – Whitley County has recorded its first death from coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Kosciusko County’s number of positive cases rose to 14, according to the Kosciusko County Health Department.

The death in Whitley was reported by the Whitley County Health Department. The deceased was a man in his late fifties. The Whitley County Health Department said they were unaware of any previous health concerns with the deceased.

To date, there have been eight total confirmed cases in Whitley County.

In Kosciusko County, officials said the total number of positive cases rose by two on Monday.

The county provided a chart breaking down the symptoms connected to those who have tested positive.

93% experienced a cough, 64% experienced fevers, 57% experienced shortness of breath (SOB), and 50% experienced muscle aches (myalgia).
