Health Department Confirms First COVID-19 Case In Kosciusko County

WARSAW – Kosciusko County has recorded its first case of Coronavirus.

The health department announced the first positive case of COVID-19 in the county.

Dr. Bill Remington, Jr., the county health officer, is working closely with local and state officials to ensure the contacts of the patient are identified and monitored and that all infection control protocols are being followed.

The patient is self-isolating at home. No additional information about the patient will be released due to privacy laws.

As of Thursday morning, the state had recorded 645 positive cases.
