SYRACUSE — If you are the parent of a child who will be 5 on or before Aug. 1, 2020, then this event is for you and your child. If you know of children who will be 5 on or before Aug. 1, 2020, share this information with their families.

Milford School, Syracuse Elementary and North Webster Elementary will be hosting kindergarten roundup in each of their buildings 3:30-7 p.m. Thursday, March 26. Parents and their child may come any time during that time frame.

Please bring the following items with you if you have them: parent’s and child’s Social Security numbers; child’s immunization records and birth certificate; doctor’s name, address and phone number; two names and phone numbers of people to reach in an emergency; and parent’s workplace and phone numbers. In addition, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire.

If you are unsure which school your child will attend, you can go to bit.ly/2FfWy1K. Under the search area on the left-hand side, type in your street address and ZIP code; then choose kindergarten as the grade level from the drop down; and click the search bar. You will see the elementary school where your child should attend.

If you are unable to attend kindergarten roundup or have specific questions, call the elementary school where your child will attend. Staffing decisions are based upon the number of students enrolled, so call the school where your child will attend if you are unable to attend kindergarten roundup.
