Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents

5:39 a.m. Monday, March 9, SR 25, south of South CR 600W, Burket. Driver: Brian A. Funk, 36, Ewing Road, Rochester. Funk said he fell asleep while driving. His vehicle left the road and went into a ditch. Damage up to $10,000.

9:50 p.m. Sunday, March 8, SR 14, east of County Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: John J. Stanton, 53, 9th Street, Rochester. Stanton’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $10,000. 

1:06 a.m. Sunday, March 8, US 30, west of West CR 300N, Etna Green. Driver: Joseph E. Foster, 45, Delaware Street, Crown Point. Foster’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $2,500. 

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:36 a.m. Saturday, March 7, Kings Highway and Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: David H. Rank, 63, East Ridge Place, Warsaw; and Steven D. Knouff, 70, Wilcox Road, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $2,500.
