WARSAW – Firefighters from multiple departments were battling a structure fire this morning on South Buffalo Street in Warsaw.

The blaze was reported at 5:15 at J&B Pallet Company, 711 S. Buffalo St.

The fire appeared to be concentrated on the east side of the building.

Joining Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory were Winona Lake and Leesburg fire departments, but more support – from as far north as Milford and Syracuse – was still being sought as of 6:30 a.m.

Traffic along Buffalo (SR 15S) was temporarily halted and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
