Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

8:26 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: June K. Leiter, 54, B37 Lane, Warsaw; and Gabriel C. Shennum, 25, William Drive, Winona Lake. Lieiter’s vehicle rear-ended Shennum’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

9:57 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Driver: Megan S. Strickler, 22, Main Street, Avilla. Strickler’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000. 

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:42 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, US 30, Pierceton. Drivers: Martin Agyei, 44, Tilghman Street, Allentown, Pa.; and Joshua Wallace, 27, West CR 9000S, West Jordan, Utah. Agyei was attempting to switch lanes but realized he did not have time so he swerved back over to the passing lane, causing the  semi tractor trailer he was driving to jackknife on US 30. Wallace’s vehicle was behind Agyei’s and struck Agyei’s vehicle. Damage up to $100,000.
