Officers Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accident:
5:38 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, North CR 800W and West CR 640N, Warsaw. Driver: Barbara Yoder, 55, Byrer Road, Etna Green. Yoder’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $1,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the following accidents:
7:41 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, Chicago Street, east of Sycamore Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Karla Mosier, 24, Road 95, Haviland, Ohio; and Charles A. Curry, 30, Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Mosier said she attempted to pass Curry’s vehicle when the driver’s mirror of her vehicle struck the driver’s mirror on Curry’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
8:42 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, East CR 1200N, east of Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse. Driver: Ann V. Means, 63, East CR 650N, Syracuse. Means’ vehicle struck a deer. The deer left the scene. Damage up to $2,500.
7:54 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, East CR 1200N, east of Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse. Driver: James Johnson, 77, Mary Lafern Street, North Webster. Johnson’s vehicle struck a deer. The deer left the scene. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
11:36 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, Center Street, west of Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Driver: Kathleen Clay, 27, East CR 100S, Pierceton. Clay said she backed out of a parking space and did not believe her vehicle struck the vehicle parked behind her. WPD Parking Enforcement Officer Mason Sumner said that he did not witness the crash; however, he did see Clay backing up to exit the parking space and he saw a hood ornament from the vehicle parked behind Clay’s lying on the ground. Damage up to $750.
10:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Walter Thompson, 29, Highway 1760, Louisa, Ky.; and Michael Lewis, 62, Ferguson Road, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection of Detroit Street and Winona Avenue. Damage up to $5,000.
8:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Tristan R. Mauk, 23, Country Club Road, Warsaw. Mauk’s vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
8:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, Detroit Street, Warsaw. A parked, unoccupied vehicle was struck while parked at The Bowling Alley parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.
10:23 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, Bronson Street, north of Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Vondee L. Wood, 41, North High Street, Silver Lake; and Danny L. Cox, 76, Old Ditch Road, Warsaw. Wood said her flip flop got caught on the gas pedal, resulting in her running a red light and colliding with Cox’s vehicle. The collision caused Wood’s vehicle to spin and strike a parked vehicle in a used car lot. Damage up to $50,000.
