Some news and notes from the Tippecanoe Valley and NorthWood athletic departments heading into the weekend.

Tippecanoe Valley will host a parent meeting for all winter sports in the main gym at TVHS at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Senior recognition night for the Valley fall sports teams will take place before the Valley-Southwood football game on Friday, Oct. 18. The homecoming king and queen will also be formally announced at halftime, pushed back two weeks because of weather postponements.

Valley’s girls basketball scrimmage has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29, a 6 p.m. start at TVHS.

NorthWood is readying for the Panther Basketball Clinic for grades 1-5 that starts Tuesday, Oct. 15 in the Activity Center. The camp is geared to skills and the development of basketball acumen within the NorthWood program structure.
