Warsaw girls golf traveled to Fort Wayne to take on Carroll High School at Chestnut Hills Golf Course, beating its hosts in an 18-hole weeknight match Monday.

Leading the way for the Lady Tigers with medalist honors was sophomore Marie Frazzetta with a score of 87. Grayson Kilburn shot a 92 behind her, while Sydney Lancaster and Delaney Byron turned in respective scores of 96 and 97. Brooklyn Fitzgerald’s 110 was the team’s toss-out score.

Warsaw returns to action again Thursday against Rochester and Triton at Stonehenge Golf Club. The three-way meet is schedule for 5 p.m.

Valley girls golf beat Pioneer in a dual meet at Round Barn in Rochester Monday.

Kaydence Mellot earned low medalist honors with a 50, while Madelyn Weaver was close behind with a 51, and Molly Moriarty shot 54. Lily Ault’s 59 completed the Lady Vikings’ team score, and Cheney Canada was one stroke back.

Valley is scheduled to play Peru and Northwestern in a three-way Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Warriors dual meet with Manchester at their home course of Maxwelton was rained out Monday night. No make-up date has been announced.
