UPDATE: One Injured In CR 300E Crash

MILFORD — Amber Koebcke, 33, Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse, was transported to Goshen Hospital following a one-vehicle accident today, Tuesday, Jan. 15, around 8:10 a.m. on CR 300E, south of Bowser Road. Koebcke complained of pain to the head and suffered a possible broken arm.

According to information from Indiana State Police, Koebcke was northbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe when she went to pass another vehicle on the icy and slick roadway. While passing the vehicle, Koebcke lost control of her vehicle and went off the westside of the roadway. Her vehicle struck an embankment and went airborne for 30 to 40 feet and upon landing, rolled several times coming to rest on its side near a creek.

Koebcke was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Damage to her vehicle was estimated up to $20,000.

Indiana State Police was assisted by Syracuse Police, Lutheran EMS and Milford Fire Department.
