WARSAW – Another avenue to help one of Warsaw’s largest humanitarian efforts will hit the Tiger Den in October.
The Sharp Shooter Challenge, sponsored by the Warsaw basketball program, is designed to support the Feed My Starving Children – Warsaw Mobile Pack initiative. The money raised from the event will go towards the FMSC fundraiser, which has become one of the most visible outreaches in Warsaw. The contest will take place Monday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Warsaw Community High School Tiger Den gymnasium.
An entry of $20 will allow a contestant to shoot 25 three-pointers and 25 free throws in a limited amount of time. Whoever makes the most shots wins a $200 prize money pot. The fundraiser is hoping to have 40 shooters enter the contest, but will gladly accept additional support.
