BOURBON — Denise Shafer was selected as the 2018 Celebrate Literacy Award winner.

This award, given by the Marshall County Reading Council, was presented to Triton Elementary School Librarian Mrs. Denise Shaffer for her outstanding dedication to increasing the joy of reading and literacy in children.

Over the past five years, she has done an incredible job creating resources and activities for her students while engaging them in meaningful projects.
