Gymnastics
The Wawasee gymnastics team picked up another win Monday night in its trip to Kendallville. The Warriors topped East Noble 102.000-98.775.
Wawasee took first on bars, beam and floor to help fuel the victory.
Reagan Atwood took first on floor and beam for Wawasee. The junior earned a 9.20 on the beam and a 9.45 on floor. Jada Parzygnot was first on bars with her score of 8.85. Atwood was second in that event with an 8.35. Atwood also took second on vault with an 8.60. East Noble’s Alyssa Skiles (8.70) was first on vault.
Atwood (35.60) and Parzygnot (34.05) took first and second, respectively, in the all-around category with Skiles taking third (33.75).
Wawasee (6-1) hosts Angola Thursday night.
Freshman Boys Basketball
The Wawasee freshman boys team fell 39-30 to NorthWood Monday evening.
Ethan Hardy led Wawasee with 15 points. NorthWood was led by 12 points from Micah Phelps.
Wawasee is now 9-8 on the season and will host Angola this Saturday at 11 a.m.
