SYRACUSE — In conjunction with Valentine’s Day, Wawasee Middle School Builders Club will be doing a service project to benefit the Kosciusko County Animal Welfare League.

From Jan. 30 to Feb. 10, donations of money, pet food and new and gently used clean pet items can be brought to the school, located at 9850 SR 13, south of Syracuse.

Builders Club members will also be selling coffee and hot chocolate at the concessions stand at athletic events with proceeds going to the AWL. Club members will also be selling blow pops and Hershey kisses Feb. 9-10 during lunch time at WMS. And they will also be making Valentine treat bags for the animals at the shelter.
