Republican Election Victory

Editor,

A few days ago we elected a new Republican President of the United States. Hoosiers elected a new Republican United States Senator, a new Governor, and Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District re-elected Jackie Walorski and elected State Senator Jim Banks as the Congressman from Indiana’s 3rd District. All Republicans. Additionally, Kosciusko County elected all Republicans in county offices. What a great victory for Republicans, Hoosiers, and all freedom and liberty loving Americans.

Named last year as Kosciusko County’s Coordinator for the Todd Young Senate campaign, I am particularly proud of our role in the Indiana United States Senate race. Kosciusko County’s margin of victory for Congressman Todd Young was the fourth largest of the 92 counties in Indiana, and the highest of any county north ofIndianapolis.

Many volunteers worked tirelessly for our candidates. Evan McKinley, Craig Nayrocker, and about a dozen students from the WCHS Conservative Club, including but certainly not limited to; Dayle Harvey, Lucas Harvey, Hunter Haines, Royce Smith, Hannah Rice, and Lucas Rhodes made thousands of calls from Republican Headquarters. They also knocked on countless doors throughout the county on behalf of our candidates.

Furthermore, Jim Heierman, Craig Nayrocker, Jim Jarrette, Steve Foster, and Evan McKinley placed campaign signs at all permissible polling locations in the county Monday evening and retrieved them by midnight Tuesday night. These same individuals and Bev Heierman, Jack McKinley, Ron Shoemaker, Ronnie Shoemaker, Jack Wilhite, helped set up and tear down our 2016 Republican Headquarters in downtown Warsaw, and many volunteers helped with our Headquarters in the ten weeks before the election. Over a thousand campaign yard signs were distributed through our Headquarters, including hundreds of Trump/Pence, Todd Young, and Eric Holcomb signs.

Again, many local citizens helped achieve this tremendous victory, and limited space makes it is impossible to name them all here, but to all who participated, speaking for myself and on behalf of the Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee, we thank you and are truly grateful for your service.

Mike Ragan, Chairman

Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee
