NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Lions Club and local Kiwanis hosted a chilly Easter egg hunt this morning, Saturday, March 26.
Children were shivering in a combination of cold and anticipation as they lined up at the ropes and gates of the North Webster ball diamonds. Kids were split into three different age groups, taking off at the sound of whistle to hunt for the colorful eggs strewn through the frosty grass.
Following the 9 a.m. egg hunts, the North Webster Community Center hosted a community breakfast complete with doughnuts, bananas, grapes and a variety of drinks. Chilly children and parents warmed up in the community center while sorting eggs.
