LEESBURG — One person was transported to an area hospital following a car/truck accident at CR 700N and CR 200E, east of Leesburg.

Leesburg Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Indiana State Police and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded.

The accident was between a Ford car and a Chevrolet pick up truck. Both vehicles came to a stop in a corn field in the northeast corner of the intersection.
