SYRACUSE — New Paris Fire Department, Jackson Township EMS and the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at approximately 2:11 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the intersection of US 6 and CR 29, just north of Syracuse.

The crash occurred between a four-door sedan and a GMC Sierra. No word yet if any of the drivers were transported by EMS.

This is another accident at an intersection with a long history of accidents. Indiana Department of Transportation and the Elkhart County Highway Department have been in collaboration on upcoming safety measures regarding this intersection.
