Mikel Neer, age 56, of Leesburg, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, in North Webster.

He was born to Richard D. and Phyllis Jean (Grubbs) Neer in Columbia City, on Aug. 21, 1959.

Mikel was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.

He is survived by brothers Giles (spouse Jennifer) Neer of Akron; and Chris (spouse Gamze) Neer of Leesburg; and seven nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him.

Private services are planned. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
