Ruth Miller, 89, Goshen, formerly of Wakarusa, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at Elkhart Hospice House.

She was born Feb. 28, 1926, in Wakarusa, to Oliver and Anna (Weldy) Loucks. She married Harold Miller on Nov. 20, 1949. He died Nov. 30, 2004.

Surviving are sons: Gary (Dina) Miller, Elkhart; James (Melinda) Miller, Goshen; daughter: Peggy (Ron) Myers, Elkhart; grandchildren: Craig Myers; Mark Myers; Josh Miller; Ben Miller; Abby Findley; Gloria Dirlam; seven great-grandchildren; sister: Kathryn Pletcher, Elkhart; brothers: Lamar Loucks; Lowell Loucks, both of Elkhart; and Jim Loucks, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Harold; and daughter-in-law: Sherry Miller.

She worked at CTS in Elkhart and Elkhart Central Cafeteria and was a member of Beulah Missionary Church. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; The Gaithers, (a gospel group); and putting puzzles together and working in the yard.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, where the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, with Pastor Craig Garber officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

Memorial contributions may be given to Galilean Home Ministries, Liberty, Ky., or to the Center for Hospice, Elkhart.
