SYRACUSE — Lakeland Eagles of Syracuse held a fundraiser in late September where culinary arts students from Wawasee High School made the desserts and helped with the cleanup effort.

The Eagles then made a donation in the amount of $500 to the culinary arts program. Dan Bauer, WHS culinary arts instructor, noted the donation is general in nature but likely needed supplies will be purchased.

The check was presented Thursday morning, Oct. 15, in the high school culinary arts room (see photo).
