Dear Editor:

In honor of Direct Support Professionals week, Sept. 13-19, I would like to thank all of the Direct Support Professionals who have worked with my son and all of the other adults with disabilities at Cardinal Services in Warsaw.

My son, Andrew, is 27. He attends the day service program at Cardinal Monday through Friday. The DSP’s are the hand’s on wonderful caring people who work one-one with Andrew and the other adults with disabilities in the classrooms, the CCI manufacturing facility, the residential homes and assisting consumers who live in their own apartments.

Cardinal employs about 400 DSPs who work directly with adults challenged by a disability. If you know one of these wonderful caring DSP’s please give them an extra thank you for all their work.
