Jay E. Watkins, 53,  passed away on Saturday morning, Aug. 8, 2015, at his home.

Jay was born on Aug. 7, 1962 in Indianapolis, and has been a lifelong resident of the Plymouth area.  He retired in 2009 after 16 years of employment with Northern Indiana Vending.  He enjoyed the vending business and vending machines. Jay also enjoyed tractor pulling, tractors and all sorts of cars.

Jay is survived by his parents: James E. and Carolyn (Moore) Watkins, Plymouth; sister and brother-in-law: Janet and Charles Hinton, Argos; brother: Chad Watkins, Plymouth; and one niece: Regan Watkins.

Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville. A private burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hall.
