Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation Provides Updates on Flooding

NORTH WEBSTER — Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation continues to report accounts of rising water in the North Webster area.

TWF took to its Facebook page to share photos and data collected at Lake Tippecanoe, Webster Lake and Barbee Lake. Tippecanoe’s flow is part of the Tippecanoe River, where a 1-foot increase has been reported over a one-day period.

As of Tuesday, July 14, the water level in North Webster’s Tippecanoe Lake stood at 5.5 feet, an increase of 1-1/2 feet since seven days prior.

The measurement is just six inches below the classification of minor flood stage. To see more of the data collected by TWF visit www.tippecanoewatershed.org.
