The Warsaw Little League claimed a District 14 championship Sunday.

The Warsaw All-Star team captured the Major League Division title by downing Goshen 12-2 in the championship contest.

Jordan Diaz led the way for the champions by firing a one-hitter with seven strikeouts in the victory. Warsaw piled up 11 hits in the win.

The championship team was comprised of Anthony Foust, Luke Adamiec, Austin Slone, Lukas Maier, Micah Colbert,  Zack Weaver, Jordan Diaz, Nicholas Luna, Joe Springer,  Jacob Denzer, Kevin Cruz,  Brock Poe,  Lucas Wrenn and Caden Graham.

Ryan Weaver was the manager of the championship squad. Nate Maier and Rob Springer were coaches for the team.

Warsaw advances to play in the State Tournament in Jasper this coming weekend.
