There will be no excuse to be bored with tons of Fourth of July activities occurring in Syracuse in the days leading up to the holiday, in addition to in the days following it. Expect of variety of activities, good eats and, of course, fireworks!

Wednesday, July 1

Syracuse Artisans & Farmers Market’s produce market from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park at Crosson Mill

Thursday, July 2

Lions Club Fish Fry and Stan Fox Memorial Silent Auction from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Syracuse Community Center

Friday, July 3

Lakes Area Community Band performance at 7:30 p.m. until about 9 p.m. at Lakeside Park
Syracuse fireworks at dusk at Lakeside Park

Saturday, July 4

Wawasee Flotilla Road Race starts with registration at 7 a.m. at Lakeside Park in Syracuse; race follows at 8 a.m.

Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation’s Lake Talks and Eats — “Bug Catch!” — from 9 a.m. to noon at Ruddell Pavilion

Syracuse Artisans & Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park at Crosson Mill

Annual Turkey Creek Firemen’s Barbecue at 10 a.m. until sold out at Station 1, 402 N. Huntington St.

Wawasee Flotilla begins at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Spink Condominium and will travel around Lake Wawasee

Dewart Lake Flotilla at 2 p.m. near public access

Wawasee fireworks at dusk on Lake Wawasee

Sunday, July 5

Boat-In Worship at 8:30 am on the lake in front of Oakwood Inn & Resort — come by boat or on shore

Annual Steel Dynamics Patriotic Pops concert by Fort Wayne Philharmonic from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Oakwood Inn & Resort
