With the Fourth of July fast approaching, holiday celebrations are being held throughout the county. On Friday, July 3, the Old Jail Museum will join in the celebrations during Warsaw’s First Friday.

The celebration begins at 6:30 p.m. with a short video on the U.S. founders’ struggle for independence from Great Britain and will continue with patriotic tunes. The event aims to inspire a sense of patriotism and a reminder of the freedom for which the U.S. stands and those who have given their lives for our independence.

Activities will be held for children in the backyard from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The museum is located at 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw. The event is free for the public to enjoy.
